ABOUT US

Cinema is an art form that lets you sit in the dark with strangers and travel to somewhere you've never been.

Window Seat exists to make world cinema accessible. So many extraordinary films from around the world never reach UK screens — we exist to change that. We programme much loved international films and some you may not have heard of, hosted in independent cinemas or small venues that deserve full houses.

My name is Krishna — I started Window Seat after living in Paris for a while. France is the birthplace of cinema, and while I was there I fell in love with French films, attending special English-subtitled screenings and cinema clubs. Those screenings in Paris opened up a whole new world of cinema for me, and I wanted to bring that feeling home.
